Join Jeffrey Johnson and Cory Sides in this webcast as they explore the asset management challenges facing water utilities and demonstrate how new artificial intelligence (AI) tools can use machine learning to help decision makers mitigate risk, deploy limited resources more efficiently and deliver tangible budget improvements.
The webcast will focus on the challenge of aging water infrastructure and provide insight into a real-life example of how one water utility used a novel risk-analysis method to identify areas of its water distribution network that were at elevated risk of leaks and subsequently scheduled critical repair work in a more-targeted, strategic way, preventing more than 70 million gallons of non-revenue water loss.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
- Understand the current state of aging infrastructure, water scarcity and non-revenue water in the United States
- Discover the role new AI tools can play in water asset management
- Explore how predictive analysis can be used to assess failure risk for water distribution assets and infrastructure
- Review representative examples of improvements
Johnson operates at the intersection of expertise, innovation and technology to advance sustainability efforts that will revolutionize the water industry.
